Board

The board meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 5:30pm in the GICS cafeteria.

The Board of Directors for Green Isle Community School includes:

Holly Harjes –
Holly Harjes taught sixth grade in the Burnsville Public Schools for ten years, served for five years on the Sibley East School Board, and for fourteen years has substitute taught in preschool – grade twelve. She is self-employed as a farmer and currently serves as one of the founding developers of Green Isle Community School. Her previous service on a public school board provides critical background as GICS’s Board becomes established. In addition to serving as a member of the Board, Holly serves at GICS as a volunteer, substitute teacher, and community resource person.
